Remote connections aren’t safe
RDP but secure

Flexible pricing: for example, with 5 users, you pay only €9 per user per month.
Secure Your Remote Access
The Remote Desktop Protocol (RDP) allows fast and convenient remote access to servers and PCs. It’s easy to set up, delivers high-speed performance, and uses strong encryption for data transmission.
However, RDP is not designed for secure internet access!
– High Risk of Cyber Attacks: Without proper Brute-Force Protection, hackers can endlessly guess passwords.
– Unpatched Vulnerabilities: Microsoft doesn’t always release security fixes quickly, leaving your system exposed.
– Overlooked Admin Accounts: Test admin accounts are often forgotten, creating an easy entry point for attackers.
Protect your servers with RDP Secure Access and block threats before they happen!

Maximum Security – Keep Hackers Out!
With RDP Secure Access, your PC or server is no longer directly exposed to the internet. Access is only possible after authentication through our high-security gateway.
– No direct attack surface for hackers – your system stays invisible to cyber threats.
– Extra protection with Two-Factor Authentication (2FA) – adding an additional security layer for maximum safety.
Keep your remote access secure and eliminate vulnerabilities before they become threats!

How RDP Secure Access Works
A Before & After Comparison
Without RDP Secure Access:
Open Doors for Attackers
To enable remote access to a server or PC, many users configure port forwarding in their router. This makes it possible to connect via RDP from anywhere, but it also exposes the system to the entire internet.
- Firewall limitations – Since external access is allowed, Windows and router firewalls do not block login attempts.
- No Brute-Force Protection – Attackers can systematically try thousands of passwords without restrictions.
- Automated Scanning & Exploits – Your system will be detected within hours or days by port scanners, triggering constant attacks.
- Unpatched Security Vulnerabilities – If RDP weaknesses exist, attackers can exploit them before Microsoft releases a fix.
- No Obscurity Defense – Changing your IP frequently or using a non-standard port does not stop attackers, as they target all exposed systems.
With RDP Secure Access:
Controlled & Secure Connections
By enabling RDP Secure Access, you eliminate these risks by restricting access exclusively to our security gateway. Instead of allowing direct RDP connections from anywhere, your system will only accept connections from our trusted security gateway.
- Controlled Access – The firewall only allows connections from our gateway’s IP, blocking all unauthorized attempts.
- Pre-Authenticated Connections – Before any RDP session is established, users must log in to our security gateway.
- No Direct Exposure – Attackers cannot see your system at all, eliminating the risk of automated scans and brute-force attempts.
- Secure Data Forwarding – Once authenticated, traffic is securely relayed through our gateway to your PC or server.
- No Stored Credentials – Your login details are never saved on the gateway, ensuring additional protection.
To compromise your system, an attacker would first have to locate and breach our secure gateway, which is protected by multiple security layers. Even if that were to happen, your credentials are never stored there, making unauthorized access nearly impossible.
With RDP Secure Access, your system remains invisible to attackers, and only authorized users can connect—without complex VPN setups or exposed firewall ports.
About Security
The following section aggregates sources from articles and websites that have published information about the security of RDP connections.
High risk without management
January 2025 – Vectra AI
A Vectra AI article describes how attackers use RDP to gain unauthorized access to network resources. It cites brute-force attacks and unprotected RDP servers as common attack methods.
90% of attackers used RDP to infiltrate networks
April 2024 – Security Insider
The report shows that in 90% of the cases examined, attackers used RDP to infiltrate networks. This is the highest recorded misuse of RDP since the publication of Active Adversary Reports began in 2021.
Dark web hackers advertising access via RDP
July 2023 – Fortinet
In the second half of 2023, we observed that threat actors operating in the dark web most often advertise access to organizations via VPN, followed by RDP and compromised accounts.
3.4 million attacks within 24 hours
September 202o – Eset
ESET reports a massive increase in RDP attacks. In 2020, the number of daily RDP attacks in the DACH region rose by 4,516%. In June 2020 alone, up to 3.4 million RDP attacks were recorded within a 24-hour period.
Frequently Asked Questions
Why RDP for remote access?
RDP is built into Windows, so there’s no need for additional software or external servers. TeamViewer, AnyDesk and other are remote maintenance software. They are not ment to work a full day with them. RDP seamlessly supports multiple monitors, easy local printer redirection, and direct file transfer—all without third-party fees. This makes RDP especially useful in Windows-centric environments where you need efficient, secure, and fully integrated remote sessions.
Is the installation complicated?
The installation isn’t very complicated. You simply need to configure the PC you want to access and adjust settings on your router/firewall. You don’t need to install any additional software. If you need assistance, our team can provide a custom guide tailored to your system or help you via remote support.
Multiple RDP sessions at once?
Unlike many other remote desktop software products, RDP allows simultaneous access to multiple PCs. When you secure your connections with our service, you also benefit from an organized admin backend where you can view and directly open all your remote connections.
Why not using a VPN?
A VPN is always a good choice for providing employees with secure access to a company network. However, setting up a VPN infrastructure typically requires additional hardware and software, which must be implemented. Additional to that many attacks target VPNs, requiring immediate security updates. Installation and updates are needed on every endpoint. There are also often considerable costs for installation, operation, and maintenance of the hardware, as well as licensing fees. These expenses can quickly exceed €10,000 and more. As a result, our system can be a sensible alternative for small and medium-sized businesses looking to secure their employees’ home office access.
What if they hack your database?
Our data is stored in German data centers and is well protected against attacks through appropriate measures. Among other things, access to our system over the internet is secured by a web application firewall and two-factor authentication. In the unlikely event that attackers gain access to our database, they still won’t have access to your system. We do not store the password for your PC or server, so you always have to enter it yourself. This ensures that no one but you can access your computers.
What about the open ports?
If you choose to use RDP, you must at least make the standard port 3389 accessible from the internet. This could serve as an attack vector for attackers. With our solution, this port remains closed. We use a different, individual port for each connection, and it is not accessible to attackers because it can only be reached from our IP-Range known to us.
Why is standard RDP not save?
If you use RDP without securing the connection through our service, you face the following risks:
- Regardless of whether you use the standard or non-standard port, specialized search engines will find it within hours of installation.
- Configuring 2FA is very complicated.
- There is no protection against brute-force attacks to guess the password.
- Unpatched systems may contain security vulnerabilities that can be more easily exploited.
- The connection may be unencrypted or insufficiently encrypted.
Why is RDP cost-effective?
The software required for RDP is already included in Windows, so there are no additional costs. Securing this connection through our service costs €9 per user per month. A license for remote desktop software products like TeamViewer or AnyDesk can easily run more than twice that amount per month. Meanwhile, purchasing and implementing hardware and software for a VPN often exceeds €10,000 initially and incurs additional costs of several thousand euros in subsequent years.
This means that using our service is not only cost-efficient, but also offers excellent value for money. You get maximum security at a low price, enabling even mid-sized businesses to work effectively.
